PUBG Is Suing Rosanne Over Battle Royale Format And Rosie O’Donnell Is Loving It

The media is focusing on the wrong Rosanne tweet. The reality is, Rosanne Barr is in a heap of trouble and it has nothing to do with racism, Islamophobia or her show being cancelled. The real hot button issue right now is that the creators of PUBG (Player Unknown’s Battle Grounds) are planning to sue the mega star over her use of the Battle Royale format in her upcoming video game, tentatively titled “Rosie’s Rumble”.

Yes, Rosanne is a huge fan of battle royale games and plans to launch her own later this year.

Barre became the target of the PUBG team after tweeting about how good she is at Fortnite (who they’re also suing), racking up an impressive 20 royale victories:

However, the situation is much more complicated than a single lawsuit. This is not the only court battle Rosanne is facing over her upcoming game, as she’s currently embattled in legal limbo with long time rival, Rosie O’Donnell.

Ms. O’Donnell claims that Rosie’s Rumble is her intellectual property and that she’s been developing the game with her team for over a year – before the concept and title were stolen by Rosanne. Court transcripts show that O’Donnell believes Rosanne to be a “fkng n00b that can get rekt”.

Legal experts across social media have chimed in and the general consensus is that the winner of the rights to Rosie’s Rumble will go on to be sued by PUBG and could possibly lose everything. To add further confusion, the case will hinge on the testimony of Rosie Perez, who’s been dragged into this cesspool of a trial by virtue of her first name and rumors that her new gaming studio is working on their own royale game.

In any case, whether it’s Rosanne, Rosie O’Donnell or Rosie Perez making a battle royale game – we’re sure it will be really fucking good and can’t wait for the beta.
